Caption : Konapura Island Just two kilometer from Goruru Dam , its on Hassan Arakalgud Main Road, Hassan District . Island sorrounded with Hemavathi back water and many sorrounding people may not know this beauty spot. Earlier only during Summer visitors able to reach this Island, 5-6 years back this road constructed by Forest Department to reach island and its Ranganatha Swamy temple at any seasons, and they are planning for boating to public shortly.
