This sudden economic growth of Kolkata has resulted in mushrooming of a number of new residential and commercial complexes at the greater Kolkata on the periphery of the city. BSNL, Calcutta TELEPHONES, being the largest telecom operator in the city, has accepted the challenge for providing telecom facility to all new companies by optical fibre connectivity. BSNL is poised to install RLU/DLC (small exchanges for the complex), DSLAM (equipment for Broadband Service) and other associated equipment in the space being provided by the builders.
