Caption : The Big Bazaar Road in Mattancherry was once the business hub of Kochi. The Road is lined with GODOWNS and warehouses with shutters facing the backwaters, since a majority of cargo used to arrive by small ships and boats. With business activity shifting to mainland Ernakulam, the streets now wear a deserted look. But tourists arrive here, to catch up with the old-world charm of Kochi..
