Caption : A new Polymerised Chain Reaction (PCR) laboratory was inaugurated at Kumbalanghi in West Kochi on November 23, 2004. The Rs.15-lakh laboratory is expected to save upto 80 per cent of the shrimp farms affected by the 'White Spot Syndrome' virus.
