Caption : A view of the Kondakarla AVA lake that is located about 60 kms from Visakhapatnam. Palm hallows serve as boats in the lake. Kondakarla AVA, eight kilometres from Anakapalle and Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, is a gorgeous spot that has a very good potential for attracting tourists, similar to the Rushikonda beach. This big lake, which is frequented by exotic birds from far off places, is situated amidst Munagapaka, Vadrapalli, Haripalem and NagAVAram villages of Anakapalle and Atchutapuram mandals. It also has the potential for boat riding and water sports. The bungalows around the lake were built by the British India officials, who had identified this attractive spot.
