Domestic LPG CONSUMPTION in the state has gone up by 66 per cent in the last three years, ever since it became easily available in the open market. As against 2,16,927 tonnes in 1999-00, the CONSUMPTION has soared to 3,59,611 tonnes in 2002-03.
