Caption : PALAKKAD, KERALA, 13/11/2016: The three day Kalpathy car festival began with the procession of temple cars through the street of the ‘agraharams’ at Kalpathy in Palakkad on November 13, 2016. The three day festival will end on Tuesday with the ' Rathasangamom'. The annual chariot festival (Ratholsavam) of the Sree Viswanatha Swami Temple usually falls in the month of November. The festival days transform the quaint town into a riot of colours and festivities. The highlight of the festival is the three elaborately decorated huge temple chariots that steal all the attention on the last three days.
