Caption : An eye-sore and a source of disease in a well-planned residential locality in New Delhi. This drainage aptly known as " Ghandha Nalla" ( on account of the foul smell ) vends its way through most of the New Delhi's New Colonies. The picture was taken in August 1963 in Karol Bagh where most of the South Indians live. The Corporation does not prevent the DHOBIS from using the embankment for drying the linen.
