Caption : VISAKHAPATNAM, 11-04-2012: Villagers, including many women, desilting the Gangula Cheruvu near Boddam village in Vepada mandal in Vizianagaram district under the NREGS programme on April 11, 2012. Around 600 villagers are participating in the work for the last one week. The daily earning for a villager ranges between Rs. 80 to Rs. 110 depending on the work they complete. This temporary work gives some relief for them since agricultural operations are not round the year.
