Caption : Kolkata: As a part of the Platinum Jubilee celebration the Reserve Bank of India has launched a Financial Literacy campaign by using tram, the heritage mode of transport in Kolkata on Friday. The West Bengal State Finance Minister, Dr. Asim Kumar Dasgupta flagged off the tram from Gariahat depot here. Historically, the RBI was founded in the then Calcutta in the year April 01,1935. The Financial Literacy Tram will feature panel of display on various facets of RBI, for which financial inclusion is prerequisite.
