Caption : DHEMAJI: 19/08/2009: People crossing a river in country boats as the repairing work of the NH-52 is going on in Samarajan area in the flood- affected Dhemaji district of Assam about 170km away from Guwahati on August 19, 2009.The recent flash floods has washed away a major portion of the NH No.52 and a wooden bridge and the district remains cut off from the rest of the country for the past four days.
