Caption : TIRUCHI, 11/01/2009: A rare form of Lord Rama in a fraternal posture with Sri Hanuman at the mandapam at the entrance to Sri Vaikuntanathan Divya desam in Srivaikundam. Considered to be a rare posture in different aspects, intricate carvings of Lord Rama on one of the pillars of this 'mandapam' without Sri Sita or Sri Lakshmana, testify to Lord's great blessing of Sri Hanuman. Lord Rama is seen with His right hand on the shoulder of Sri Hanuman, in a patting mood. The Lord possesses the long and holy bow in the left hand. Sri Hanuman has been carved out as a symbol of humility. Devotees can never miss a glimpse of the Lord Rama and Sri Hanuman in this form. What is more interesting are the pleasing notes that emanate from the bow on gently striking it with fingers. The musical notes are in consonance with those emanating from a metallic instrument.
