IAF launched the Trans-India Powered Hang Glider Expedition across India to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of the Indian Air Force. The crew flew a distance of more than 3500 km, and set up a new national record. The aim of the expedition was to spread the spirit of adventure and sportsmanship, among the general public and to spread awareness of the Air Force, through joyrides to children and invitees.
