CEO and MD of TCS S Ramadorai formally handing over the signed MOU copy to Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi at the ceremonial signing of memorandum of Understanding between TCS and IIT Guwahati and Assam Government in Guwahati on Saturday, March 01, 2008. Also seen in the picture (from left) Dr. Gautam Barua, Union Minister of State for Commerce Jairam Ramesh and Assam IT and Health Minister Mimanta Biswa Sarma. TCS signed a MoU with IIT-Guwahati for setting up a TCS Learning Centre oh the IIT campus and to develop collaborative in Research and Development based on mutual interests. TCS has also signed a Lease agreement with the Assam Government for leasing 50 flats for a period of three years.
