The decision to establish a brand identity for Indian rubber in the global market by the Rubber Board will likely to boost natural rubber exports from the country. Natural rubber production in November and December 2007 was in excess of one lakh tonnes each and stock towards end of December 2007 moved up to 194,000 tonnes.
