The Union government, based on the recommendation of the Commission for Agricultural Coast and Prices (CACP), has increased the minimum support price (MSP) of copra by Rs 40 per quintal on both the milling and ball varieties. The prices for fair average quality (FAQ) of milling copra stands at Rs 3,660 per quintal and for FAQ of ball copra at Rs 3,910 per quintal.
